Prerequisites
- VT PID: One must have an active VT account, in order to login to a VT WPaaS site backend.
- VT VPN: If one is not on campus, one needs to be logged into the “All Traffic Over SSL” option of the VT VPN
- Site Admin: One must be listed as a site user by a site admin.
Login to a VT WPaaS site, is via CAS. One also needs to either be on campus, or using the “All Traffic Over SSL” option of the VT VPN. When one goes to the site login page, for example: myVTSite.vt.edu/wp-login.php, one will be automatically redirected to CAS.
At that point, one will input their personal VT PID, and VT Password, for authentication. After the CAS authentication, one will be able to see the backend of the wordpress based site.
