VT “JWT”

The ED JWT Generator generates a JWT that can be used to login to various systems.
This JWT is valid for 24 hours and can be used instead of your password to access various VT systems.

Just login with your VT PID and VT PASS (not hokies password) to generate a JWT.
Copy the “JWT”, and login into a different system using your VT PID and this “JWT”.
For 24 hours, you won’t have to deal with the 2fa for the system you logged into using this “JWT”.

NOTE: In order to acquire a 24-hour “JWT” password, the “Remember Me for Directory” application
requires users to use the VPN (Virtual Private Network) if off campus.
There will still be an initial TWO-FACTOR authorization when logging in to start a WEBDAV session.
